Abstract

The braking system of the car is an important part of the car, excellent braking performance is of great significance to the safety of the car. A brake is a component of a braking system used to generate a force that hinders vehicle movement or trends. This article uses the CATIA software to design and model the rear wheel disc brake of a 1.6L family car, and through the ABAQUS to analysis the finite element analysis of the designed brake. This article mainly explains the structure of the brake, and then designs the parameters of the brake parts. First of all, a comprehensive summary and sorting of the car's braking system, analyze the structure, function and working principle of the braking system; secondly, according to the car theory and the knowledge of car design, the force analysis of the car when braking, derivation of the formula and theoretical analysis and calculation of the braking torque, synchronous adhesion coefficient, braking strength and maximum braking torque during the automobile braking process. Finally, according to the parameters of a specific car model, a reasonable rear wheel disc brake is designed, and the results of the most designed calculations are demonstrated to discuss the requirements and principles of matching brakes and vehicles.

Chapter 1 Introduction

1.1Introduction

In today's society, cars are an important tool for people to travel and transport. With the increase in the production of cars and the increasing speed of cars, road safety has become a global Sexual concerns. The number of deaths due to traffic accidents increases year by year. As can be seen in Figure 1.1, 78.8% of fatal accidents in the country in 2019 are caused by road traffic, the highest proportion. When the pace of life continues to accelerate, we should also pay attention to the safety of the car.
