稀有糖虽然在自然界中含量少,但因具有潜在的生物活性和低毒性使其在膳食、保健、医药等 领域发挥着重要作用。

随着生活品质的提高,人们对膳食和健康的要求越来越高,对食品安全性和药物低毒性越来越关注。

为此,广大糖化学和药物化学工作者需要不断深入研究,从原料和合成方法入手,建立廉价高效的稀有糖合成体系,解决稀有糖产业化生产的难题。
