Variousemotional coloring of the lexicon could cause various emotions among the targetlanguage readers. It is very important to deal with the emotional coloringlecicon so that it won’tcause sensitive political issues in translation. Thus, the paper focus on thelexicon of different emotional coloring in English news, to find out howEnglish news deals with the translation problem on such lexicon. During thetranslation process, it depends on the context and the social background todecide whether the translator should weaken, strengthen or keep the originalemotional coloring.
