The Little Prince is a classic tale of equal appeal to children and adults. However for a long time, the literature ability of children has not been paid enough attention, so many translation versions can not be accepted by children. This paper uses the reception theory as a perspective. Through the study and analysis of the translation of the little prince, we can know the author's language style and analyzes how the author grasps the main idea of the original work and focuses on the children's readers.
