南非语言政策对孔子学院汉语教学模式的影响毕业论文

摘 要

在中国和南非双方的多年努力与推动下,汉语教学在南非发展态势良好,但是受到南非国情和汉语学习难度等因素的影响,汉语教学在南非也遇到了一些问题与瓶颈,其中不少问题都与南非当地语言政策有关。语言政策是一个国家决定本国语言以及外国语言传播、教学的重要因素,对南非语言政策和规划进行分析有助于孔子学院在当地展开语言教学和进行跨文化交际。在此背景下,本文主要对南非语言政策与孔子学院教学模式之间的关系进行研究,并提供相应的建议,以期对海外汉语教学和孔子学院发展提供启发和帮助。

本文首先以南非约翰内斯堡大学孔子学院为例,采用田野调查法和问卷调查法探讨孔子学院的教育模式中存在的问题,包括教师自身的教学经验及专业知识问题、学生学习动力较小、语言学习环境补偿仍有欠缺等问题。然后,论文主要通过文献分析法对南非政府发布的相关政策文件进行分析,在语言政策文本方面,本研究重点关注南非近年颁布的与语言教学相关的语言政策,考察了近三年南非基础教育部(Department of Basic Education)、南非高等教育与培训部(Department of Higher Education and Training)和南非艺术与文化部(Department of Arts and Culture)等政府行政部门颁布的政策文本,主要分析相关的课程政策、材料政策、人事政策、社区政策等方面对孔子学院教学模式的影响。

研究发现南非语言政策对孔子学院教育模式存在以下影响,包括教学时间短、缺乏本土教师和本土教材、国内存在质疑等。对于以上问题,文章提出三点对策:深入了解语言政策,加强两国合作;增加文化活动的比例,提高汉语吸引力;教师要适应当地文化,多样化教学模式。

Abstract

Thanks to the years of hard work and promotion of both China and South Africa, Chinese teaching has developed well in South Africa. However, due to factors such as the national conditions of South Africa and the difficulty of Chinese learning, Chinese teaching has encountered some problems and bottlenecks in South Africa, many of which are related to South Africa’s local language policy. Language policy is an important factor for a country to determine the dissemination and teaching of its own language and foreign languages. An analysis of South Africa’s language policy and planning will help the Confucius Institute to conduct language teaching and cross-cultural communication locally. In this context, this article mainly studies the relationship between South Africa's language policy and the Confucius Institute's teaching model, and provides corresponding suggestions in order to provide inspiration and help to the overseas Chinese language teaching and the development of the Confucius Institute.

This article first takes the Confucius Institute at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa as an example, using field survey methods and questionnaire survey methods to explore the problems in the Confucius Institute’s education model, including teachers’ own teaching experience and professional knowledge issues, students’ less motivation to learn, and language learning environment The compensation is still lacking. Then, the paper mainly analyzes the relevant policy documents issued by the South African government through the literature analysis method. In terms of language policy texts, this study focuses on the language policies related to language teaching promulgated by South Africa in recent years, and examines the South African Ministry of Basic Education in the past three years. Department of Basic Education, South Africa Department of Higher Education and Training and South Africa Department of Arts and Culture and other government administrative departments issued policy texts, mainly analyzing related curriculum policies, The influence of materials policy, personnel policy, community policy and other aspects on the teaching mode of Confucius Institute.

The study found that the South African language policy has the following effects on the Confucius Institute education model, including short teaching time, lack of local teachers and local textbooks, and domestic doubts. For the above problems, the article proposes three countermeasures: in-depth understanding of language policies and strengthening cooperation between the two countries; increasing the proportion of cultural activities and increasing the attractiveness of Chinese; teachers should adapt to local culture and diversify teaching models.
