Mixed traffic is one of the basic conditions of road traffic in China. The interference between various motor vehicles and non motor vehicles in the bus station area is particularly serious, which will reduce the road capacity in most cases, and even cause traffic congestion. Therefore, it is necessary to make a detailed analysis of mixed traffic behavior in the bus stop area, which is conducive to the development of green transportation system, taking public transportation as the main mode and coordinating various modes of transportation, such as walking and cycling. While ensuring the efficiency of public transport and providing comfortable space for non motor vehicles, it can also ensure the order of motor vehicles and provide safe walking space for passengers. At present, the relevant literature on this topic at home and abroad mainly focuses on the interaction between buses and motor vehicles, while the research on the interaction between buses and non motor vehicles is less, and the research on the interference between non motor vehicles and passengers is even less.

Therefore, this paper first summarizes the basic form of bus station and its main role in road traffic. Secondly, the mutual interference of all kinds of traffic in the bus stop area is analyzed. On this basis, the VISSIM simulation model of bus arrival and departure process and passenger boarding and alighting process is established. Finally, combined with an example, the mixed traffic flow under different scenarios is simulated.
