光动力治疗的三个重要因素是光敏剂、照射光、氧气。

为了提高治疗效果,科研工作者们一直致力于优化要素,光敏剂的设计与研究更是成为研究焦点。

目前常用加入重原子的方式来提高光敏剂的自旋轨道耦合以提高单线态氧产率,但加入重原子会导致暗毒性增加。
