3.1 research design

this study adopts a quantitative method to investigate how word concreteness and exercise types affected efl vocabulary acquisition and whether they interact with each other. word concreteness and exercise types are the independent variables and efl vocabulary acquisition is the dependent variable and measured in terms of receptive and productive vocabulary knowledge.
